Blog article about “consumerism”
I have tried to use google’s blog search feature tonight and found such
wonderfully thought provoking reads. One of them is a blog article
about "consumerism", a topic which I am very interested about. For

I assure you that you will not regret the time you will spend reading
this blog article. The insight is very thought provoking.
The
reason why the blog article caught my attention was that in the past
several days now I have been constantly thinking about something that
quite relate. In fact I have started a discussion with Raven about it.
The paragraph below is somewhat the sum of the thoughts that has been
bugging me for several days now.
"Surely we were not put here in
this world to worry and be stressed out most of our day’s waking time
about getting more and more money to buy this and buy that…to acquire
this and acquire that? Surely we were put here in this world to have
more time enjoying what this planet has to offer us and at the same
time spend more time thinking meaningful things that could help give us
wisdom, understanding and enlightenment that might be able to help us
improve as a person…as a human being. This would eventually also
contribute to our well beings when the time comes when we have to
embrace the ending of our existence in this world by giving us the
feeling of contentment and satisfaction that we have actually lived our
lives to the fullest and have actually done our purpose as to why we
were born in this world".
Um yeah I know…so deep…so
profound. I surprise myself sometimes too. I do not know where all
these thoughts are coming from but they are there. Always. For years
now. And I have to say that I am changing as a person. I am evolving. I
hope for the better.
